This chimney was severely deteriorated above the roof. Due to the improper venting of gas fueled appliances this chimney slowly deteriorated over the years until the point it began falling apart. The concrete cap was cracked, pervious masonry repairs had been only partially successful in restoring the chimney’s structure. All was remedied with precise masonry work and installation of liners to contain and funnel exhaust gas flow.
